July Birthstone

As we look forward to welcoming the month of July…the month we celebrate the “red, white and blue”….with an emphasis on the “red” for summer, we acknowledge the king of precious gems, Ruby, as the birthstone.  The name “ruby” comes from rubeus, the Latin word for red. Symbolic of passion, protection and prosperity, the ruby has been revered since ancient times.
